Curriculum

Our Curriculum

“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible.” Loris Malaguzzi

  • The children’s education programs are developed by our early childhood educators. Educators program and develop the curriculum based off children’s individual developmental needs, interests and our interpretation of the Reggio Emilia Approach along with influences from a variety of other Early Childhood theorists. Educators are also guided by our philosophy, learning frameworks, National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework when developing these curriculums.

Our Learning Environment

Kids Paradise Learning environment is:
Inclusive
Safe
Welcoming
Aesthetically pleasing and Inviting
Inquiry based
Filled with purposeful materials

The layout of the environment promotes relationships, communication, collaboration, and exploration through play.  Materials are thoughtfully added to the environment to promote creativity, thinking and problem-solvingskills, questions, experimentation and open-ended play.

Our Educators throughout the service encourage all families and children to contribute ideas and interests to our play-based learning environment. ‘Hands on exploration and play is driven by the children’s interests, questions and the world that they live in which is key for the children to use all languages to express themselves’.
